Dongfeng is a state-owned automobile manufacturer from China that offers a wide array of products to its customers. The company was founded in 1969 and thus carries a rich history. Its headquarters are located in Wuhan, China and the company possesses one of the largest automotive parts producing facilities in China. Dongfeng produces tractors under the Changzhou Dongfeng Agricultural Machinery of China which has been offering these machines to the Chinese farmers since 1952 even before the existence of the Dongfeng brand. The company also has the distinction of having its products exported all over the world, owing primarily to their low cost. These tractors are sold under a variety of brand names, one of which is "East Wind." During the several decades of its operations, Dongfeng has offered a total of 25 different tractor models to its customers. These machines ranged in power from 20 to 90hp. This translates to the fact that the company caters to the needs of a wide range of customers with varying needs and requirements. Although Dongfeng only offers compact tractors yet these machines fully address the needs of not only its local but foreign clients as well. This is one of the reasons that Dongfeng has seen a surge in its tractor sales in the recent past. Some of the tractor models offered by the company to its customers include but are not limited to DF-200, DF-204 and DF-250.
