East Wind farm tractors
East Wind was an Australian importer that specialized in compact Chinese tractors that gained popularity in the country due to their low cost. The majority of the tractors imported by East Wind belonged to Changzhou Dongfeng Agricultural Machinery of China, which has been providing customers with high-quality tractors since 1952. It was predominantly due to Changzhou Dongfeng’s rich history spanning over more than 70 years that East Wind was able to generate some quick revenue. Resultantly, East Wind made a quick fortune by presenting these machines to the local customers. East Wind only managed to offer 5 different tractor models to its customers throughout its entire operational years. This figure was so insignificant that East Wind was never able to stand out from the crowd with its offerings and was thus always regarded as a subpar company that only struggled to exist in a segment where competition was already fierce. To aggravate the company's woes, it could only arrange compact machines with low-profit margins. These tractors, which ranged in power from 24 to 55 horsepower, were only purchased by customers with low bank balances. East Wind never earned a decent amount because of this. Some of the tractor models offered by the company included but were not limited to DF304, DF554 and DF354.
