IMT farm tractors
IMT which is the acronym for Industry of Machinery & Tractors was a Serbian manufacturer that produced agricultural equipment. The company was founded in 1947, more than 70 years ago, and ceased its operations in 2018 when it was acquired by TAFE. With its headquarters located in Belgrade, Serbia, IMT had annual revenue of more than $50 million during its heydays. The company operated with hundreds of employees that worked day and night to offer high-quality agriculture products to customers. IMT also has the honors that its 5200-5500 tractor models were among the top ten largest tractors of the world in the 1980s and 1990s. This allowed the company to enjoy the limelight for quite a long time interval. The IMT 533 and 539 tractors that sported 33 and 39 hp engines respectively were the most successful models produced by the company. The engines on these machines were particularly reliable and resultantly were renowned for lasting more than 20,000 hours. This reliability and relatively low cost allowed IMT to become the tractor of choice for a huge number of fans that simply found these tractors irreplaceable. IMT has offered a large number of tractor models to customers some of which include but are not limited to IMT 553S, IMT 560 and IMT 5135.
