Merlin farm tractors

Merlin was an Australian tractor manufacturing company that remained in operation for approximately two decades from 1993 to 2012. The company claimed that during this era 25 to 55% of the overall components of tractors were produced locally in Australia. This is one of the primary reasons that Merlin was able to offer its products at relatively lower costs as compared to the competitors. All the company's tractors were assembled in its factory located in Melbourne. However, as the brand ceased operations in 2012, the factory also came to a complete halt. Merlin offered a total of six tractor models to its customers that had powers ranging from 75 to 140 hp. This meant that these machines were not targeted at small farmers. Resultantly, clients interested in undertaking more challenging tasks were interested in these machines. The distinct yellow paint of these tractors made them easily distinguishable even from long distances. Some of the tractor models offered by the brand included but were not limited to TDX105, TDX125 and TDX140.
