Sonalika is a major agricultural and power equipment manufacturer that is based in Hoshiarpur, India. The company was founded in 1969 and has since then been able to diversify its operations. It currently employs more than 5000 employees that work day and night to offer high-quality products to customers located not only in India but abroad too. Sonalika also has the distinction of being the sister company of ITL (International Tractors Limited), which has manufactured tractors for several manufacturers, including Renault. This demonstrates the company's commitment to producing high-quality products. Besides this, the Sonalika group also started actively participating in the automobile segment in 2004 further invigorating its presence in the manufacturing sector. Sonalika has provided its customers with a total of 17 tractor models over the course of its operations. The power of these machines ranged from 30 to 90 hp, indicating that the company focuses on producing compact tractors that are best suited for average Indian farmers. These tractors are adequately powered to handle everyday operations however when it comes to more challenging tasks, some customers find them underpowered.
