Toro farm tractors
Toro is a company based in the United States that was founded in 1914 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. During its early years, the company was solely focused on producing engines for the Bull Tractor Company. However, it diversified over time, and after gaining experience in the field, it ventured into the field of lawn and golf course maintenance equipment. In the 1980s, the brand made a breakthrough when it acquired the tractor manufacturing brand Wheel Horse, which aided the company in further expanding its business line. Toro shifted its focus to commercial machinery manufacturing after the year 2000, effectively abandoning the lawn and residential tractor segments. However, the company started reselling tractors after collaborating with MTD in 2007. Toro only offered a limited number of tractors to customers, so the company is not regarded as a major player in the field. It only sold the model 6-10 tractor, which had a power rating of 11 horsepower. This small tractor was available in the 1920s and fully met the needs of the clients at the time. Although the brand currently offers a wide range of agricultural products such as emission devices, hoses, and controllers, it is no longer associated with the tractor industry.
