Fendt farm tractors
Fendt is a German manufacturer that produces agricultural machinery including tractors and harvesters. The company was founded more than 90 years ago and over the years has developed itself into a giant. Fendt currently has more than 6000 employees and the net assets of the company amount to € 2 Billion, thereby making it one of the largest corporations in the sector. It is also pertinent to mention that Fendt currently operates as a subsidiary of AGCO which in itself is a huge group with assets over $7 Billion. The first tractor manufactured by Fendt was known as “dieselross” and was produced in 1928. This initial product became a huge success and resultantly Fendt became a separate entity that provided superior quality products to its customers for more than 70 years. However, it was later acquired by the AGCO in 1997. The main selling points of Fendt tractors were their Xylon chassis and Vario transmissions, which set them apart from the competition. In total, Fendt has offered 269 tractor models to its clients over its business of more than 9 decades. These machines varied in power from 12 to 663 hp and thus offered a large variety which ensured that all customers got their desired products. A few of the tractor models currently being offered by Fendt include 828 Vario, 1151 Vario MT and 927 Vario.
